When the memories have been gathered, you can turn the whole collection — every story and photo — into a keepsake book. Many families order after the celebration of life, when the collection feels complete, but there's no deadline.

What the keepsake is

The book lays out the memorial's contents beautifully: a cover with a photo, name, and years; a dedication; and each memory with its photos, gently grouped into sections. It comes in two forms:

  • a digital PDF you can keep and share with family, and
  • a printed hardcover, an 8.5-inch square book, bound and shipped to your door.

The printed book includes the digital PDF free.

First, shape the book

Before ordering, spend a few minutes in the book builder: reorder memories, set anything aside that shouldn't be printed, add photos or a custom page, choose the cover, and check names. Nothing you do there can be undone in a way that loses a memory — set-aside items stay safe on the page and in your archive.

When it feels right, choose Finalize & tell the family. This marks the book ready and — if you allow it — lets family and friends order their own copies. You can always order as the host, finalized or not.

How pricing works

The digital PDF is a flat price. The printed hardcover is priced by length — it starts at the base price and rises in tiers as the book grows longer, because a bigger book costs more to print. The live indicator in the builder and on the order page always shows the current price for your book's length, so there are no surprises at checkout. Current prices are on the pricing page.

Step by step

  1. Open the memorial's book preview and choose Order the keepsake book.
  2. Pick your format — digital, printed hardcover, or both.
  3. For a printed book, choose how many copies.
  4. Pay securely with a card. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Printed books ship within the US, and you'll enter the shipping address at checkout.
  5. The digital book is delivered by email with a download link. Printed books are produced and shipped to the address you gave.

Ordering copies for the whole family

A digital file gets shared once and lost in a group chat — but a physical book can't be texted, so every relative who wants one orders their own. After the first order, use Order more copies any time. Grandparents, siblings, adult children: one book per household ends the "can you send me those photos?" conversations for good.

Checking on an order

Every order has a status page — linked from your confirmation email and, for hosts, from the management page — showing whether the book is being prepared, printed, or shipped, and offering the e-book download. Guests who order keep their status link in their own confirmation email; no account needed.

Letting family order (or not)

By default, anyone with the memorial link can order a copy once you've finalized the book. If you'd rather keep ordering to yourself, there's a one-tap switch in your memorial's settings to turn guest ordering off.

Good to know

The memorial page stays free — the book is optional, and the page doesn't disappear if you never order one. You can always download the full collection of photos and memories at no cost. And if anything about your order isn't right, reply to your confirmation email and a person will sort it out.
